They are the hills of Mount Atxarre, on the right hand side of the beach is Mount Ogoño and beyond that Anzorra point; The BI-3234 road to Bilbao passes by it; canoeing and surfing are popular; its tranquillity is its surprising feature. It has showers, an open-air bar, a first aid post, drinking fountains. The sand is fine and it has a car park for a large number of vehicles.
