Granada

Puerto de la Ragua is a natural pass between two distinctly different regions, the provinces of Granada and Almería, located within the Sierra Nevada mountain range, but in its lesser-known area. These two regions have managed to preserve their customs, traditions, and way of life intact despite the passage of centuries. To the south and just 15 km away, lies all the Moorish charm that has been preserved for many years in La Alpujarra. To the north, the lordship and grandeur of the Castilian plateau of the Marquisate of Zenete.

At an altitude of 2,000 m, the resort proudly overlooks the surrounding regions: the beaches of Almería, Cabo de Gata, the Baza, Cazorla, Segura and las Villas Mountain Ranges, Mágina Mountain Range, Húetor Mountain Range, the Guadix-Baza basin, up to the snow-capped peaks of Sierra Nevada. Far from the hustle and bustle of alpine ski resorts, this destination promotes sports activities that are compatible with the environment, such as cross-country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, orienteering, and archery, coexisting harmoniously with the natural setting of Sierra Nevada National Park.
