Salvador Vilaseca Reus Museum
The life and history of Reus
The museum presents exhibits dating from prehistoric times through to the modern age.
This exhibition offers a journey into the history of Reus. Highlights of the various collections on display include particularly the 16th and 17th century ceramics; items that once formed part of the main altarpiece at the parish church; Gothic panels and two Baroque religious statues; along with archaeological remains from the prehistoric and Roman periods. Another notable attraction is the permanent Gaudí & Reus exhibition, which explores the links between architect Gaudí and the city itself through drawings, writings and personal items that belonged to the artist.
