Palace of the Marquis de Santa Cruz del Marcenado or de la Rúa

Commissioned by Alonso González de la Rúa, treasurer of the Catholic Monarchs. It is sober and military in appearance. A 15th-century late Gothic palace. The façade features an entrance with a voussoir round arch, decorated with the coats of arms of the Rúa and Cienfuegos families. There is a recently roofed courtyard and a beautiful garden inside the building. It is currently an Events Centre.
