The church was built in the 16th century and was finished in the 18th century by Martín de la Aldehuela. Magnificent Rococo style interior decoration. The exterior of the building has two façades one of which is Plateresque that used to belong to the old convent that used to stand on the site. The whole complex of buildings are of stunning beauty.
