Basilica-Shrine of La Vera Cruz.

Originally Islamic, the building has been remodelled many times. Inside it holds a cross thought to be miraculous, the Santísima Vera Cruz de Caravaca. The shrine of Vera Cruz is notable for its Baroque façade made from local marble, added in the 18th century. It is inside the walled enclave of the Real Alcázar, which was a fortress of the Knights Templar and later the Order of Santiago, and now boasts 14 towers of different sizes and shapes.
