The Méntrida-Toledo Wine Route offers a unique opportunity to understand the importance of the land, a place where human communities have, over time, developed a relationship with the environment that endures to this day. How to get here
Méntrida, the town after which the route is named, has just over 5,000 inhabitants and is situated in the northern part of the province of Toledo. It can be reached from Madrid in just 45 minutes via the A-5 motorway (Madrid-Badajoz). From Toledo, the journey takes just 20 minutes via the A-40 motorway (Torrijos–Maqueda), connecting to the A-5 (Badajoz–Madrid). There is also a high-speed train line that links Toledo and the Madrid-Puerta de Atocha station in Spain's capital in just half an hour.
