Sailing: Christmas Race Regatta

Once again, this year sees the year’s most seasonal regatta, the Christmas Race, in waters off the Costa Brava.

Olympic medallists as well as World and European champions have taken part in this event, which has also served as training for the Olympic Games on eight occasions. It is considered the season’s first regatta after the ISAF (International Sailing Federation) annual meeting, where all the novelties in the sport are put into place.
