Beach: Rodas
This beach in Pontevedra is one of the most beautiful in Spain and is set in stunning surroundings. In fact, it was chosen by "The Guardian" newspaper as the best beach in the world. It is the largest and most popular beach in the Cíes Islands (which the Romans called "the islands of the gods"). The landscape is stunning at the back of the beach, with a beautiful lagoon. Opposite you can see the Vigo Estuary. The boats that arrive from Vigo pass through there. There are also restaurants and a campsite on this beach. The sand is fine and white, and the water is emerald and crystal-clear. There are areas with natural dunes nearby.
