There are high-speed trains that take less than an hour between Atocha Station in Madrid and Cuenca.

The Cuenca AVE station is the “Fernando Zóbel”, located approximately 6 kilometres from the city centre. It is connected to the bus and coach station via city bus route 1. A taxi service is also available.

By AVE (high-speed train), Cuenca is also connected to the three capitals of the provinces that make up the Region of Valencia: Valencia, Castellón and Alicante.
